New York--On July 9th, General Manager of the New York Rangers Ben Post, and General Manager of the Los Angeles Kings, came to an agreement on the trade of superstar Jaromir Jagr. Ben Post was quoted just a few hours after the trade, saying...
"I love Jagr, he's a great player, I wanted to hold onto him, but we just couldn't have all of that money on just one player(11 Million)."
In return coming from the L.A Kings was center Jason Allison, who's salary isnt chump change either. He rakes in 8 Million a year. Also heading to the Rangers was Right Wing Adam Deadmarsh who Ben Post said...
"Is a fantastic underrated player, he will play on the first line a be a major part of our offense."
In addition the Rangers got two solid prospects Konstantin Pushkarev who's 11 Goals and 6 Assists in 15 Games, cleary show he is going to score a lot of goals when he is ready for the NHL. Also Jeff Tambellini(19 Goals 23 Assists 46 Games) a great prospect at the University of Michagan. And, a 1st Round Pick in '04.
