The Ottawa Senator's General Manager has been so far busy with the UFA season beginning. He has signed Defender, Ken Klee to a three year deal worth 3.9m. He then signed Geoff Sanderson to a 5 year deal, worth 1.3m a year. Then, he went to sign Anson Carter to a 3 year deal, worth 3.6m. At the same time, he was tied to rumours involving Chara and Jagr , who both signed today for 50 million dollar contracts.
The Ottawa Senators have added some depth, and Ken Klee will definetly help the Senators defence, as it is no big secret that Senators have been looking for defensive help ever since the previous GM traded Chara away to the Atlanta Thrashers.
Anson Carter and Geoff Sanderson will be to win a cup here in Ottawa, as they are both veterans trying to win the Stanley Cup. Hopefully for them, and for the fans in Ottawa, that the large silver trophy is carried by Alfredsson at the end of the season.
