2 days in a row, GM Dan Fillion is feeling good about his team. After aquiring Jaromir Jagr yesterday the team recinded all their free agent bids and regrouped. Later in the day they targeted the one player that they felt stood heads above the rest of the competition.
As per this season the team made the player only one offer. The reply came fast, yes he was excited to play for such a great team and immediatly signed a 5 year deal.
As of 15 minutes ago Dan Cloutier was on the teams private jet heading to Washington. "He is ready for camp, he feels he can unseat Marty Turco as our starter" GM Dan Fillion gleamed! "Cloutier has playoff experience, has been a #1 for years and his name is always on the tip of the tounge of fans in this league. Its great to aquire another player of such stature!"
