Rumours are running wild around the league these days and it has been reported that the Saint-Louis Blues are actually listening and considering offers from different teams around the league involving 25 years old defenseman Nick Boynton. Apparently, team management decided to make him avaible and place him on the trade market after seeing a very large and growing interest from several teams.
With an already very young and impressive blueline which includes the likes of Jay Bouwmeester, Andrei Markov, Paul Martin, Karel Rachunek, Thomas Pock, Mike Green, Brian Campbell, Matt Walker and finally, Nick Boynton, the latter could be expandable and could help improve some other aspects on the present roster.
It has been reported that talks have already started with a few teams and that GM Fred Younan would end the Boynton bidding-war on August 12, late at night.
