Atlanta, GA --
The second move for the OTHL Thrashers has finally happened. The Thashers, a team not very deep in talent, picked up Eric Bogunecki from the St.Louis Blues in exchange for a 5th and 6th round pick in this years upcomming draft.
"We feel this is a great and important move for the club. Eric is a great role model for our young players because he gives it his all every day. He is also a good two way player who we feel can contribute twenty (20) goals for us this year and next", said GM Love about the trade.
These are the types of deals that the Thrashers will continue to need to make in orer to sneak them selves into the playoffs.
