Montreal, QC (CP) - Calgary Flames general manager Kieran Thomas who resides in a suburb on the island of Montreal during the summer has been spotted at the Montreal Canadiens Development Camp held in Pierrefonds these past few days.
A certain reporter following the days events at the development camp overheard Flames general manager discussing trade with two undisclosed teams. Though he did not overhear who the Flames were aquiring, the names Chris Clark, Denis Gauthier and Marcus Nilson were over heard several times. The Flames have been rumoured to be offering certain players around the league hoping to add a few offensive minded players to the squad.
Calgary has announced a press conference for tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM, where they will likely reveal the two trades. Sources close to the Flames have revealed that Scott Mellanby is likely one of those candidates.
