Today the Atlanta Thrashers General Manager James Love and the teams head coach Bob Hartley help a meet the press day and adressed many questions from various reporters. Some questions and comments are posted below:
Reporter: Mr.Love does this mean Bob Hartley will be staying with the team?
Mr. Love: No.....I brought him here to fire and embarrase him publicly.......nobody let that man ask anymore questions! We feel Bob is the best coach in the OTHL and he is staying here for the long haul.
Reporter: Mr. Hartley, have you got any expectations for the upcomming season? Being a new, young team do you think you still have a chance at the playoffs?
Mr. Hartley: I feel very strongly that we have a very good chance at making the playoffs this year. In fact it would be a dissapointment if we dont. We may be a young team but we have some of the best talent in the world. Our top line is one of the best in the league if not the best.
Reporter: Mr. Love, with trades starting to be finalized throughout the league is there anything that you are working on?
Mr.Love: I have been in lots of talks in the past few days. Ive been seeing whats out there and deciding what to do with the team. I know there are players that wont be here come the start of the season. We will be making some significant moves to help our team now and in the future.
