The Dallas Stars season was a dramatic one to say the least. Since Gm Shane Jooris has taken over the team he has made several changes that has shown to be benefitial to the frachise. He took over the team with a payroll at nearly $60 million. GM Jooris made changes a got more youth, which is what his main goal was. However he managed to build a nice core with the additions of Wade Redden, Colin White, Jeff Oneil, Alexander Semin and Andrew Raycroft. The Stars seems to be clicking at the right time and could make some noise in the playoffs, as they have won 5 games in a row. With elite players like Jagr, Redden, Zhamnov, Yashin, Oneil, Hunter and so on, these guys can easily make a boom in the playoffs. The Stars like the situation they are heading in to and are eager to see who their first round oppenent will be.
