OTHL -- A big congratulations to Dan Fillion and the Boston Bruins for taking home the first ever President's Trophy in the OTHL. The Bruins clinched the trophy and the number one seed in the east (and the league) with a 3-2 win against Anaheim at the same time as Florida lost to Columbus. A congratulations to Ernie Russell and his Colorado Avalanche too, for claiming the number one spot in the west thanks to a 1-1 tie today.

The Boston Bruins took home the President's Trophy after recording a 51-24-7 record for 112 total points. The Bruins also scored a league high 264 goals while allowing only 190 goals. The Bruins overcame a slow start to the season, and thanks to some great goaltending from Miikka Kiprusoff who was acquired from the Calgary Flames, the Bruins where able to lift the President's Trophy as the first team ever in the OTHL's history.
