OTHL --The Atlanta Thrashers and the Calgary Flames have been working on getting a trade going for quiet some time now. After 2 league rejections, they finally reached a deal that went through. The Thrashers can now form a super line with Iginla, Heatley and Kovalchuk. But they where forced to pay a stiff price for the 27 year old Edmonton native. Atlanta had to give up Patrik Stefan, Andy Sutton, Vitaly Vishnevski, Marek Svatos, Kyle Rossiter and top prospect Ladislav Smid along with a 1st rounder in 2005.

Jarome Iginla has played 17 games this season, getting 6 goals and 7 assists for 13 points.

But the Thrashers where not done with just adding Iginla. Shortly after the team reached a deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins witch would send all-star defender Chris Pronger along with Nils Ekman and Radek Bonk to Atlanta in exchange for Marc Savard, Vaclav Prospal and Kimmo Timonen. This is Prongers 4th trade this season. Pronger have also played games for Florida, Phoenix and Pittsburgh after being traded from St Louis earlier this season.

Chris Pronger has played 17 games this season, with 1 goal and 8 assists to his name.

The Thrashers can now boost having a lineup with Kovalvhuk, Healtey, Iginla, Pronger and Dominik Hasek. And still be under the $50 million dollar cap.

Iginla and Pronger are now part of the Thrashers
