STOCKHOLM, (OTHL) -- In a move that surprised absolutely nobody, the New Jersey Devils and Martin Brodeur reached an agreement over a new contract. The future Hall-of-Famer will now be a Devil for the rest of his career, as he signed a 5-year contract with the only team he has every played for in the NHL and the OTHL. The contract is worth almost $44 million dollars and will pay Brodeur $7 million dollars per season. The contract also includes a no-trade clause.

So far this season Brodeur has played 47 games, with a 28-12-4 record and a .902 save pct.
