Kiper Traded to Atlanta!

BATON ROUGE, (OTHL) --- The Atlanta Thrashers made a splash tonight, sending their young star netminder Kari Lehtonen to the Boston Bruins in exchange for all-star netminder Mikka Kiprusoff. Kiper comes to a Theasher team who is looking to play with the big boys, at least on paper. One of the main reasons the star studded team in Atlanta has not performed as well as teams such as the Caps, Hawks, Isles, and Sabres, is their goaltending. That should no longer be an issue with Kiper, at least that's the thinking from Atlanta Management.
