Sabres Top Atlanta

BATON ROUGE, (OTHL) --- The Buffalo Sabres beat the Atlanta Thrashers Wednesday night, by a score of 3-1. Danius Zubrus was named the game's first star with a goal and an assist. Sidney Crosby added two assists as well. The win catapults the Sabres over the Thrashers and into the top spot in the East. Both teams have 46 points, but the Sabres have a game in hand, and therefore are seeded higher (if the season ended today) due to the higher winning percentage.
