The Los Angeles Kings have hired new management. From the "Home of hockey" in Copenhagen, Denmark Bo Siemsen has been hired to improve the fortunes of the Los Angeles Kings.
The new General Manager made one demand before accepting the job. Everybody in the front Office had to be let go. GM Siemsen "Whoever ran this franchise didn't do their job. I can’t say it any simpler than that. Coach Lewis has done a pretty decent job with the on-ice product: After all it’s certainly not his fault that management gave him next to nothing to work with – he gets to stay. Everybody else is fired as of right now.“
“This Franchise will need quite a shake-up. We need to start making this franchise move forward. For starters we will be testing the market for some of the veteran players ... Domenic Hasek, John LeClair, Craig Conroy, Adam Foote ... Hasek is still among the very best when he’s healthy ... Foote can still be the #1 defensive guy on just about any team ... Conroy and LeClair can still do a decent job.”
