OTHL -- The Carolina Hurricanes added two seasoned veterans to there young lineup last night. Winger Cory Stillman and center Jason Allison both signed with the North Carolina based team. Stillman who scored 29 goals and 77 points last season, will be a welcome addition to Carolina. Jason Allison who did not enjoy the best of seasons last season in Calgary, with 58 points to his name. Is looking to get more out of his stay in Carolina.
"We had a great team in Calgary, but for some reason I never got going there. I only had 58 points last season, witch is way below my standards. I hope that a new team will spark my point production. This is a interesting team with a lot of talent, and we will work hard to make the playoffs this season." - Allison said.
Calgary got back two of there players that were available in free agency. Andreas Lilja and Mike Rathje re-signed with the Canadian team. Two other defenders that signed contracts last season, were Adrian Aucoin and Mattias Norström. Aucoin found a new home in Anaheim, while Norström will try his luck in the Windy City.
