OTHL -- Evgeni Malkin signed a 3 year deal with the San Jose Sharks today, just in time for the Sharks training camp. Malkin is the favorite to take home the Calder Trophy this season. However, just like Crosby and Ovechkin, he could see the trophy getting snatched away just under his eyes.
A number of other young players was also signed today, including R.J. Umberger, Christopher Higgins, Shea Weber and Cam Barker.
