OTHL -- Two major trades was announced today in the OTHL. The first trade was between the Florida Panthers and the Phoenix Coyotes. The Panthers recived Brad Stuart and Jere Lehtinen, two players they have traded earlier this season already. Lehtinen was traded to the Coyotes just two months ago, when the Panthers added Fredrik Modin and Eric Cairns to there roster. In exchange for the former players, the Panthers gave up Jeff O'Neill, Marek Zedlicky, prospect Vojtech Polak and a 4th round draft pick (previous acquired from the Coyotes). Now the question is, how long will Stuart and Lehtinen last this time?

Todays other major trade saw the Flames ship talented winger Alexander Frolov and defender Stephane Robidas to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Richard Zednik and Kenny Jönsson. The two teams also exchanged draft picks in the 2006 entry draft. So far this season, Frolov has been a dissapointment, with just 5 goals and 13 points to his name in 23 played games. Now the question is, will he be able to find his touch playing with Modano and Palffy. Richard Zednik has enjoyed a simular season, with just 9 goals and 18 scored points to go with a -10 rating. Not the numbers the Habs wanted out of Zednik. A change of scenery might be the best thing for both Zednik and Frolov.
