Hurricanes still losers

Matthew MacInnis

GM, Philadelphia Flyers

PHILADEPHIA (AP) - The Carolina Hurricanes are still losers declared Flyers GM Matt MacInnis.

"Well, it's really no surprise that the Hurricanes haven't won a game yet," commented MacInnis. "When you look at the jerk who runs that organization they're truly doomed to be a colossal failure and an embarassment to the city of Raleigh."

The Hurricanes dropped a 2-1 decision today to the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Canes record is 0-6-1 in seven games, with one of the losses coming in overtime, bringing their point total to two, dead last in the OTHL at this early juncture. MacInnis predicts this will be home sweet home for the team.

"They'll be a bottom three or four team for teh duration of the season I'd imagine," said MacInnis. Norm Donovan just sucks, that's really all there is to it."

The Hurricanes have been awful, despite receiving awesome goaltending from Robert Esche, who has just a 2.04 GAA and .928 save %, although he possesses a 0-4-1 record.

"Even great goaltending can't carry this team to anything beyond extreme suckitude," said MacInnis.
