OTHL -- Since Shane Jooris took over the general manager duties in Toronto, things have been rather quiet on the trade front. However, in the last couple of days those things have quickly changed. First the Leafs announced a trade with the Florida Panthers witch saw veterans Sergei Fedorov, Adam Foote and Jere Lehtinen move down south, while Olli Jokinen, Mike Ribeiro and former leaf Thomas Kaberle arrived in Toronto. Involved in the trade was also a couple of draft picks.
But Mr Jooris was not done yet, as he then continued his trading with Florida placed teams and traded defender Bryan McCabe to the Tampa Bay Lightning for three highly rated prospects. Jeff Carter, Johannes Salmonsson and goalie prospect Marek Schwarz where all added from the Bolts in exchange for Bryan McCabe.
Toronto now boost a large number of highly rated prospects while they still have a interesting roster for the upcoming season.
