OTHL -- A couple weeks ago Mike McMahon took over the Los Angeles Kings and he is doing what he can do build the Kings into a strong franchise with a bright future. After having moved out Josef Stumpel, Trent Klatt and "Mr Kings" Luc Robitaille for younger players with an upside and draft picks. McMahon went out and acquired Pavel Datsyuk from Detroit Red Wings. Datsyuk was acquired along with Richard Park and Pascal Dupuis at a steap price as the Kings had to give up Mike Ribeiro, Pierre Dagenais and Tom Poti.
However, the Kings now have there star center in place. A player that will be asked to fill the shoes of Joe Sakic who is going to test the UFA water later this summer. And with Alex Tanguay at his side, Datsyuk will give teams around the league something to worrie about this upcoming season.
