Today the Detroit General Manager, Ryan Caster, held a press conference at the Joe Louis Arena. The General Manager issued a statement regarding his recent lack of activity in the OTHL.
Dear Fellow GM's, Commissioners, BOD Members, Loyal Fans and Owners,
I am here today to apologize for my recent lack of activity these past few weeks. Besides this Detroit Red Wings organization, my other true passion is accounting and since this is tax season I have been very busy working for the great citizens of Detroit. I understand that I have not kept up with my responsibilities as a General Manager of this great league, but I am confident that, as tax season winds down, I can return to top form and once again ACTIVELY lead my team into the Western Conference playoffs. I would like to thank my fellow GM's especially Mathias and Greg for their patience regarding this matter. I am truly honored to be a part of this league and hope I can live up to the expectations placed upon me when I was hired to be the Detroit General Manager. Thank you.
