OTHL -- The first trade of the new year, where a big one as the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Los Angeles Kings swaped 7 players between them. Going to Ontario are Sergej Fjodorov, Lubomir Visnovsky and Petr Sykora. While Joe Sakic, Thomas Kaberle, Ladislav Nagy and prospect Roman Polak will make the trip to California.

Sergej Fjodorov who where traded from Anaheim to Los Angeles earlier this season, will be put in the spotlight right away as the Leafs new number one center. The media attention in California is no way near the attention up in Toronto. Will Fjodorov be able to handle it? So far his season has not been exactly top notch with just 10 goals and 34 points in 43 games. In fact none of the player coming to Toronto, has had seasons worth writing home about. While the Kings get three players that have all been on form this season. With Joe Sakic and his 21 goals and 47 points in 47 games as the top man in the trade.
