STOCKHOLM, (OTHL) --- All 30 teams were on the ice today, and a couple of the top teams continue to struggle. The Florida Panthers have hit a rough patch, today they lost to the Atlanta Thrashers and are now on a 2 game losing streak, and Florida are 4-5-1 in there last 10 games. Luckly for the Panthers, the Boston Bruins also lost to today. The Bruins lost to the Leafs, and the Leafs are now third in the east, however they are tied with New Jersey and Ottawa at 47 points. The Senators who lost to Minnesota in overtime today, 3-2 and the Wild has showed some life of late. They are now only 7 points behind Phoenix.
In the West the top teams won, as Chicago beat Detroit 4-3 and Anaheim took a win against Vancouver 3-2 in overtime. Anaheim now has a nice 10 point lead in the Pacific division. With the loss to Vancouver, the Oilers was the big winners as they are now only 1 point behind Vancouver in the Northwest. Edmonton beat another division rivals, the Calgary Flames today.
