Islanders re-sign RFA Vladimir Orszagh

Bratislava, Slovakia -- In a strange turn of events, Vladimir Orszagh has re-signed with the NY Islanders after a very long holdout period. Orszagh has signed a one year deal with the Islanders for the league minimum of $150,000. At the end of the season, he will again be a restricted free agent. "We are pleased that he is back in the fold for this year", said GM Jones in a news conference. "However, we will not put up with much more of this nonsense in the offseason. If Vladimir has another long holdout planned, we will continue to stick to our guns. That is why, despite the re-signing, we are willing to listen to trade offers concerning Vladimir." According to coach Keenan, Orszagh is expected to suit up in the next game.
