Florida-
As reported yesterday the Florida Panthers have upgraded there backup. Panthers were very dissapointed with Brian Bouchers play this season when given a chance to play behind one of the most powerful teams in the league he folded. Decision was made late last week that a change must be made.
Florida Panthers are proud to announce the acquistion of stanley cup winner Chris Osgood from Minnesota Wild for Brian Boucher and future considerations.
"I'm thrilled to land a goalie of Chris caliper without having to give up roster players or future. Chris is a guy we are confident to put in net if Roberto is fatigued. Heck he might even give Luongo a run for his money Chris was playing awesome in Minnesota" Panthers GM
