Florida-
All season people have talked about how great Boston and New Jersey are in East and which of them will win the president trophy. Oh things have changed the black sheep, the Florida Panthers are here. Slowly and quitely like an Panther in the wild has Panthers creeped up behind these two teams and last nite they striked as they overtook NJ in the standings for the 1rst time this season and are now tied with Boston for league lead with 109 points. Could Panthers do the unthinkable and win the presidents trophy? Nobody thought so as Boston was rolling but they have suprisingly dropped there last two games and have underrated Buffalo Sabres up next and finish off the season against Anaheim. Panthers on the otherhand have Columbus and NJ left a game that could easily go down as the game of the year (regular season) to determine who wins East and the Presidents trophy.
Panthers would love to win the presidents trophy for many reasons one of them would be possible to play cross state rivals Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1rst round.
