Rumour has it that the Dallas Stars have aquired superstar Wade Redden. The stars have been loking for that special dman to build an entire team around, they found it in Redden. The stars also aquired Valeri Bure who will play Rw on the 3rd line behind Jagr and Hunter. He has great scoring attributes so the stars are hoping to produce some offense out of their thrid unit. The stars also recieved some cash and a late pick. The price wasnt cheap as dallas shipped off some very important players and some good youth. The players consist of Sean O'Donnell, who has played great hockey for the Stars, Vladimir Orszagh who is very underrated and is averaging a point every 2 games, not bad for a 3rd liner. Also involved was Prospect Wotek Wolski who is rated highly, and a Phx 1st rd pick in the upcoming draft. also moved were a couple later picks. The Stars feel they got one of the best dman in the league, but the paid the price.
The stars also aquired Denis Arkhipov and cash from the Flames for 3 4th rd picks and a 5th. The stars are looking to play him on the 4th line in which the stars are also looking to add someone to play on.
Lastly the stars moved their 1st and Buffalo's 3rd rd pick this year to Ottawa for their 1st, Van 2nd, and Nyr 4th this year as well. the stars feel with the extra second rd pick they can draft a highly touted prospect
THE STARS ARE NOT FINISHED
