With the announcement of new GM Jason Hedrick, the Washington Capitals finally have some direction. Being the 4th, or possibly 5th, GM for this franchise, the fans have been through some difficult times. After seeing their future brightened by GM #1, they see it all tossed away by GM#2! Then all the veteran leadership GM#2 brought in was dealt for practically nothing by GM#3.
Well fear no more Capitals because direction is on the way, officially announced today, all of the veterans, including allstar Sami Kapanen are on the block.
"This isnt a firesale by any means. We are looking for quality prospects and youthful players we can use now. With some luck and some good deals we can have people respect the future of our team and hopefully the Blues organization find a line combo that starts to click and catch up to the rest of us!"
